Description
10TV's Dylan Robichaud shares all things weather with Jay Plyburn... and you! Topics topics: How much rain we'll see this week; planet watching; cloud types.
LATEST FORECAST: https://www.10tv.com/weather
We are looking at a dry day for Monday, along with increasing clouds.
Our attention turns to our next weather maker that rolls through the region Monday night. Scattered light showers come in close to midnight on Monday night and exit the region during the morning hours on Tuesday. Rain accumulation will be limited to a few one-hundredths of an inch at most! This means impacts will be highly limited.
After the light sprinkles early Tuesday, the rest of the day is looking to be decent. It will be mostly cloudy in the morning, with decreasing clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures will make their way up to around the low 50s to end the day as well!
Following Tuesday, highs will reach the mid-50s on Wednesday before a cold front approaches heading into Thursday. Our best chance for precipitation this week will be Wednesday evening through early Thursday, when a line of showers is expected to move through.
Once the front passes, some scattered showers may redevelop during the afternoon and evening Thursday. As we head past sundown, temps will drop below freezing Thursday night, which means a few wet flakes may fall, but nothing more than that is expected as of this time and impacts are not expected for now.
Temps should remain cool Friday with partly cloudy skies, but another warmup into the upper 40s could be on the way for next Saturday as many folks prepare for the stadium series matchup between the Blue Jackets and the Red Wings at the 'Shoe. Temps will fall back to the 30s by the end of next weekend.
