Saturday: Mostly cloudy, brisk and not quite as cold. High 34. SW 10-15
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32.
Good Friday morning!
Friday-Sunday will be quite dreary, with abundant cloud cover.
We should stay dry this weekend, apart from a brief flurry or two.
If you plan to wash your car this weekend, the best day is Saturday, because that is the only day we'll be above freezing until Monday.
Temperatures really warmup next week, with highs approaching 40° by the middle of next week.
We aren't tracking any storms over the next week or so. Long range forecast models indicate the next best chance of any rain will hold off until next weekend (Feb 1-2).
With all this cold air in place, it may be tempting to go out on frozen lakes/ponds. Keep in mind, ice needs to be at least 4-5" thick for ice fishing, and at least 6" thick for snowmobiles.
With the milder temperatures this weekend, some of that ice will be melting.
