New York City Mayor Mayor Eric Adams says police have a 'strong person of interest' in the shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
A law enforcement official told The Associated Press that the man being questioned Monday (12/09) had writings that appeared to be critical of the health insurance industry.
The official also said the man also had a gun thought to be similar to the one used in the killing.
Police apprehended the man after receiving a tip that he had been spotted at a McDonald’s near Altoona, Pennsylvania.
