THANKSGIVING SAFETY: Firefighters in Chicago are spreading the word about the potential dangers of frying turkeys ahead of Thanksgiving. On Wednesday (11/20), they demonstrated how a turkey can go up in flames quickly. Firefighters say to use a fryer outdoors away from your home, make sure the turkey is properly thawed and dry before frying, and monitor the oil temperature with a thermometer.
