Description
The major weather impacts on your Tuesday will be for moderate rainfall during the morning commute, followed by a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of severe storms during the afternoon.
The storms this afternoon will bring heavy rain and gusty winds, with the potential of small hail. The timing of the storms will be from 2p-6p this evening.
Rain amounts today will be between 0.75-1.25", with higher amounts south of I-70.
Wednesday/Thursday expect lots of clouds, along with rain coverage between 20-30%.
Our attention then transitions to the remnants of Hurricane Helene, which will arrive here late Friday into Saturday. Models are taking Helene north, before turning west towards Indiana early Saturday. As of now, expect showers Friday night into Saturday, along with gusty winds.
