Description
A large plume of flame has engulfed the Columbus skyline as a fire at a southeast Columbus scrapyard continues to burn.
Since midnight, crews have spent hours attempting to put a large debris fire at the vehicle recycling facility on Alum Creek Drive.
Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Jeffrey Geitter said it could be days before investigators can determine a cause for the fire.
The fire division asked the city's water department to increase the area's water pressure to help put out the flames.
