Description
Good Thursday morning!
Get ready for more summer-like temperatures as we head into the upcoming weekend. Highs will be in the 90s both Saturday and Sunday.
Fall begins at 8:43 am Sunday, and ironically, it'll feel more like late July!
The good news? Models are hinting at more fall-like temps by the early to middle half of next week. Highs will be in the upper 70s with lows in the 50s.
New model data this morning shows multiple rain chances over the next week. A weak frontal boundary may bring in a pop-up shower on Saturday, and then a more robust upper-level low drives in rain chances towards the first half of next week.
NOAA releases a new drought monitor update today between 7-9am, and we will be sure to bring you the latest on the drought during the midday show.
