Description
A 10 Weather Impact Day has been declared as we head into Monday! This will be because heat index values are expected to exceed 100 degrees during the afternoon and early evening. From 11am-7pm, it will be hot and sticky. In addition, we are also tracking a chance for showers and storms throughout the day.
High-resolution forecast models indicate the risk of a few showers and storms today. A few of which could have strong winds and hail.
The highest risk of strong storms will be for western Ohio today, and then for eastern Ohio on Tuesday.
Rain chances will be highest Monday-Wednesday, then a strong cold front moves through late Tuesday and into Wednesday that will cool our temps by the end of the week!
High pressure, along with a switch to northwest winds, will bring in sunny, dry, cool, and less humid weather for late this week.
