Credit: Colorado Springs Fire Dept. /TMX --- Security camera video shows the moment a dog accidentally switched on a stove and started a fire. In the video the dog appears to be smelling boxes placed on top of the stove and turning it on as it pushes away from it. Homeowners were alerted and woken up by their Apple HomePod system which sent them a "high heat" notice. The homeowners were able to extinguish the fire before firefighters arrived on scene, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department. Colorado Springs Fire Department said one of the homeowners was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation but no other injuries were reported to people or pets.
