New data this morning shows the risk of showers and storms will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. The highest risks will be for hail and damaging winds. Tornadoes and flooding are unlikely but possible. High pressure, along with north winds, returns Thursday and Friday which will deliver more sunshine and less humidity. Another cold front slides through on Saturday bringing showers, and possibly a few stronger storms. The first few days of July will feature plenty of sunshine and cooler temps, with perhaps another round of storms just in time for the 4th.
