Description
NEW PUP: A baby California sea lion was heard vocalizing and moving around her habitat alongside her mom Eloise at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington, recently. The zoo announced the pup was born on June 6 and is the first of the species born there in the zoo's 119-year history. The zoo added that mom Eloise will soon give her 'swimming lessons' in shallow water, exploring about 1-2 inches deep behind the scenes.
