The driver of a semitrailer was hospitalized after a crash involving a train in Hardin County on Wednesday.
According to the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened just after noon on state Route 31 in Mount Victory.
Video submitted to 10TV appears to show the semi on fire as the train drags it along the tracks.
The sheriff's office said the driver was taken to a hospital but did not say what their condition was.
The crash happened near the Mount Victory Council Room, where Mayor Jerry Brose said rocks spewed away from the tracks, breaking windows at nearby buildings. She said one rock flew through the bathroom window of a nearby home, but no one was hurt.
Brose said she saw the driver walk and sit down in an ambulance before being taken to a hospital.
The sheriff's office said the railroad crossings throughout the village will be blocked for an extended period of time. Motorists should use state Routes 292, 273 and U.S. 68 as detours.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. No other injuries were reported, according to Brose.
