Description
A Heat Advisory has been issued for central Ohio starting at 11am Monday and continuing through 8pm Friday evening.
This heat is due to a strong ridge of high pressure located to our southeast. The return of southerly winds Monday will transport moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, which will increase our humidity, thus making it feel hotter.
Satellite and radar imagery shows an upper-level low located in parts of the Great Plains and western tier of the Midwest. These showers and storms will push further to the east and arrive later Monday. We have cut down on the high temps on Monday due to the increased risk of showers.
Take care and stay safe!
