Description
With the warmer air moving in Friday and into the weekend, we will be tracking some showers late Friday afternoon and through Saturday morning. An embedded t-storm is possible, but strong storms are not expected.
There is a very slight chance of a rain shower during the Cap City Half Marathon, and the rest of Saturday will feature windy & warm and mainly dry conditions, with winds gusting over 25 mph during the afternoon.
Sunday will be similar but warmer, with temperatures making it into the low 80s for much of the viewing area.
Gradually, the storm system that is ushering in the warmer weather will eventually move into Ohio, bringing more widespread rain & storms late Monday and Tuesday.
But even after this system moves out, unseasonably warm temperatures will remain.
