Description
A hot air balloon blew into a power line and crashed Wednesday along a highway near Rochester, Minnesota.
According to Rochester Police Department, a gust of wind pushed the balloon into the power line.
Three people were on board before the basket fell but firefighters say no one was seriously injured.
In video footage provided by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the balloon can be seen descending near Highway 63 near Rochester before hitting the power line.
The basket then detached and fell to the ground and the balloon kept drifting.
The power line sparked a brush fire on the ground near the basket but fire crews were able to extinguish it before it spread.
