San Diego is expected to see spotty to scattered morning rain on Thursday. Another period of moderate to heavy rainfall will arrive on Thursday afternoon and evening as the low closes in on the region. There is also a chance for a few isolated thunderstorms. Meanwhile, a Winter Weather Advisory is issued for San Diego County mountains from early Thursday morning through Friday morning. This will be for the combo of gusty west winds and snow above 4,000 feet.
