In an effort to east overcrowding at shelters in Los Angeles fire zones, the Helen Woodward Animal Center has rescued 18 dogs through a partnership with SPCA LA. Through a health and temperament test assessed by the Helen Woodward team, the dogs were ensured they were comfortable around people and ready for adoption.
