July 26, 1965 This was a night of glamour and excitement for ten lovely San Diego debutantes. As master of ceremonies Judge William Low introduced the young ladies to an audience at the La Jolla Country Club, they were met by their proud Dads and escorted to a place of honor. This was the Fifth Annual Debutante Ball sponsored by Las Damas de los Ninos, the La Jolla Auxiliary to the Children's Home Society of California…the largest and oldest privately supported adoption agency in the state.
