Description
May 1, 1967 Vacation Village Hotel is hosting an Arts and Crafts Festival presented by the Fifth District, Girl Scouts. More than two-thousand scouts from Point Loma, Loma Portal, Park Hills, North Shores and La Jolla are represented by their works of art in the festival. This is the sixth year for the festival, growing larger in scope each year. Girl Scouts are encouraged to enter work they have created to earn proficiency badges in the subject area of arts and crafts...as well as entire scout troop projects. Many girls have found this "festival to be the stepping-stone toward an avocation in the field of art. The public is invited to the festival at Vacation Village on Mission Bay.
