The Arthritis Foundation's Jingle Bell Run will return to Liberty Station on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Hundreds of walkers and runners are expected to participate in this festive 5K event, which aims to raise $125,000 for arthritis research and support. This year's youth honoree is Sarah Mellado, a 19-year-old student who was diagnosed with polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) at age 16. Mellado's story highlights the impact of arthritis on young people and the importance of raising awareness.
