The largest military air show in the country is back. Get ready to look up into the sky this weekend as the Miramar Air Show starts Friday, September 27. Gates open at 8 a.m. If you already have a ticket, you can check in beginning at 9 a.m. There is no public transportation to and from the air show. However, there is a designated area for rideshare pick-up and drop-off in the McDonald's parking lot on Mitscher Way & Elrod Avenue. If you're driving, you will be directed to a parking lot upon entrance to the station gates. Shuttles will take you to and from the parking lot. You cannot drop people off at the flight line entrance gates before parking.
