Two Oceanside residents onboard a small plane were arrested Thursday morning after an emergency landing on State Route 76, the Oceanside Police Department said. Officers received a call about the landing on Canyon Drive at 1:43 a.m. When they arrived on the scene, they searched the plane and found a large quantity of narcotics inside the plane. The two people onboard the plane were arrested and taken into custody. No injuries were reported.
