Description
August 15, 1976 The San Diego Chargers are in Japan this weekend getting firsthand knowledge of Japanese customs and cultures. The same sort of cultural exchange is going on right here in San Diego with Japanese college students being exposed to "typical American lifestyles."
The exchange students are here for a month thanks to "'inter-study", a San Diego based agency designed to bring Japanese students to the United States to learn and practice English. The students today got a taste of "typical American cars” as demonstrated by the Latin low rider club of National City and the Roadrunner club. Kaiser's Custom Body and Paint Shop hosted the visitors, giving them an inside look at low riders and other souped-up cars.
