A homicide investigation got underway Wednesday night in Lemon Grove. Sheriff's deputies received multiple calls from people living in the 2200 block of Dain Court around 10:55 p.m. of gunshots in the area, said Lt. Mike Krough. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a 23-year-old man lying on the street with a gunshot wound. Medics performed CPR, but the victim died on scene, said Krough.
