San Diego's Congressional contingent Monday reiterated their call for a declaration of a state of emergency following recent detection of high levels of toxic gasses near the U.S.-Mexico border. The South Bay Union School District and Sweetwater Union High School District limited outdoor activities to prevent students from being outside. State representatives from San Diego also called for an immediate federal state of emergency Monday because of the gases found in the South Bay.
