Description
July 17, 1987
It was a night to remember when The Righteous Brothers performed at Humphrey’s by the Bay in San Diego. Twenty-five years after forming the band, the duo thrilled the crowd with their sweet nostalgic blue eyed soul sound. Our cameras caught (You're My) Soul And Inspiration and You’ve lost that loving feeling. Carol Hasson chatted with Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield backstage. Medley said he thought at the age of 46 they’d be in an old rock and roll home somewhere. He said it was terrific to still be performing. Indeed—they sounded incredible.
June 27, 1996 Bill Medley, the tall tenor and Bobby Hatfield with his angelic pipes remain the epitome of blue-eyed soul. Tonight, Righteous Brothers are in concert at Humphrey's. Larry Himmel got a chance for a little two on one. They talked about their enduring love songs and their San Diego connection.
