August 1966 Mission Bay Associates tonight picked a queen to reign over events in Mission Bay during the coming year. The ten contestants met all qualifications: they're single... between 17 and 21.. unmarried…and they look the part. 20-year-old Liz Penz was picked and second runner-up, 19-year-old Pam Richardson was first runner-up and the winner: 18-year-old Linda Gail Arthur. Among her prizes --a Hope Chest, and a collection of swimsuits. sort of a working wardrobe for the year ahead as Miss Mission Bay.
