A long-duration heat wave will continue to impact the western U.S. in the form of dangerously hot temperatures. The coast will remain mild and comfortable with temperatures only exceeding normal by a few degrees due to the influx of marine layer clouds and onshore flow each day. A large dome of high pressure continues to impact all of California. Temperatures will range between 10 to 15 degrees warmer than usual for inland locales in San Diego County.
