Description
It is a new week with the same heat. A ridge of high pressure will keep a stronghold on the week. This will lead to more heat alerts across all of inland San Diego County.
Excessive Heat Warnings are already in effect for the mountains and desert. The alert for the mountains is due to afternoon temperatures peaking from 90 to 105 degrees through 9:00 p.m. Thursday. The warning in the desert is a continuation of the prolonged heat wave that started last week for this part of the county. The warning will expire at 9:00 p.m. Friday.
