Meet Bradford | Bradford had nine surgeries at Rady Children’s Hospital before he was 2-months-old after being diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis, commonly known as flesh-eating disease, of his umbilical cord. Doctors weren’t sure if Bradford would ever crawl, stand or walk, he is now an active kid who loves to golf and skateboard. CBS 8 is working with Rady Children’s to help raise much-needed funds to launch a Resident Canine Therapy Program to help ease the pain and suffering of children who are patients at Rady Children’s Hospital.
