Description
Homelessness increased by 3% in San Diego County overall from last year, the one day snapshot, point-in-time count found 10,605 people experiencing homelessness.
In North County, the point-in-time count found a 68% jump in Encinitas, 86% in Carlsbad and 93% in Vista. San Marcos saw the largest spike with more than 1,600% increase as the number of unsheltered people jumped from 2 to 35 people this year.
