This Saturday, May 4, local culinary leaders are bringing a charitable dining event to San Diego called "Progressive Hedonist." The event aims to connect food culture and sustainability. In addition to highlighting influencers in culinary and agricultural sustainability, the event will preview a Michelin Star-winning chef's new North Park restaurant opening in the coming months. Progressive Hedonist is hosted by Dana Cowin, former Editor-in-Chief of Food & Wine magazine, and Drew & Paulina Deckman, who are opening the restaurant 31ThirtyOne. A portion of proceeds will benefit ZeroFoodprint, an international nonprofit that advocates for regenerative agriculture, and Foodshed, a farmer-owned cooperative.
