December 17, 1976 The idea seemed simple enough...FM radio station KPRI was going to give one free concert ticket to the first 250 persons who brought a can of food to help support Operation 1,000. The concert, set for tonight at Golden Hall, features the rock group., Blue Oyster Cult. The group was scheduled to perform at the plaza area on the corner of Fanuel and Garnet, but never showed.
