San Diego Police are searching for the person who shot and killed a man in City Heights, according to Lieutenant Jeud Campbell. Police responded to a report of a shooting around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 4000 block of 36th Street. According to Lieutenant Campbell, when officers got to the scene they found a man who had been shot inside an apartment. Police say the male victim was standing outside in the courtyard when he was shot. The suspect ran from the scene heading east towards the alley.
