The San Diego Police Department is investigating a string of at least 20 burglaries they believe are related. Homes in Mira Mesa, Rancho Penasquitos, and Rancho Bernardo have all been broken into. "The ring camera provided a very clear shot of their face, exactly what they were wearing so we were able to describe that to police and they brought the whole squad over and canine units," said Van, a homeowner in Rancho Bernardo. Her break-in happened around 6 p.m. on March 7. Van says she's thankful her family wasn't home at the time.
