Description
The San Diego County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday unanimously voted to extend hotel vouchers for flood victims until May 11.
The board heard from many people impacted by the Jan. 22 winter storm as they considered the extension, which requires about $6.6 million from the general reserve.
Seven weeks since the floods devastated local neighborhoods, many people are still living in hotels. The vouchers were set to expire in less than two weeks.
