Music in the Park is a free monthly concert series that amplifies the city's robust ARTs community with live music performances, DJ sets, and interactive art displays and activities. Kinfolk Fest Juneteenth Celebration (June 15, 2024): Juneteenth is a one-day celebration in honor of the emancipation proclamation finally reaching all enslaved people in America. Kinfolk Fest is SD Melanin's annual Juneteenth experience that is all about joy, empowerment and community. Our 2024 Fest will feature Black Music and Art, Health & Wellness workshops, Black-owned businesses and vendors, food and drink, games and more.
