Description
The extreme flooding caused people's cars to drift away and resulted in some vehicles getting impounded. Other than the inconvenience of losing a car, getting a car out of a tow yard can be expensive. San Diego Police say cars were towed Monday and Tuesday but this only happened if the vehicle was causing a public safety concern such as blocking intersections. Cars are not being ticketed and towed due to parking violations in storm-impacted areas.
