Its new owner is the co-founder of Silversea Cruises and is a terrific individual. Line announced it plans to build four more ships. Crystal Cruises was founded in Los Angeles in 1990, so it has Southern California roots. Crystal Serenity will embark its 141-night world cruise, roundtrip from San Diego, beginning on February 3, 2024.
