First responders are on scene of a fatal crash along the Interstate 15 near Gateway Sunday night. All lanes except one will remain closed until further notice to ensure the safety of the first responders in the area. California Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 9 p.m. after a car hit a turn incorrectly and went into an embankment along the freeway, officials said. The car hit two trees before coming to a stop at the bottom of the embankment. One woman and one child were inside the car, CHP officials said.
