A new report just released about the state of San Diego streets revealed they're below satisfactory, with a third of them rated poor or worse. The City of San Diego held a news conference Thursday morning to discuss the results of the report. "Every street in every neighborhood was reviewed, and the data collected has given us a better understanding of the overall condition of our road network," said Eric Dargan, Chief Operating Officer of the City of San Diego. "I'm sorry to report that we're not where we desire to be." The city said the last time this road assessment was done was in 2016. Back then, San Diego streets ranked "satisfactory."
