Multiple people were injured in a Spring Valley shooting Saturday evening, an official with the San Diego Sheriff's Department said. Shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, the department received reports of shots fired in the 9000 block of Ildica Street. Heartland Fire confirmed seven people were transported to the hospital, but say the severity of the injuries at this time are unknown. San Diego Sheriff's confirm two transported to the hospital were juveniles with minor burns, but were not gunshot victims. Five adults were shot.
