Three people have been shot at the Otay Ranch Town Center Saturday night, Chula Vista police confirm. Around 7:16 p.m., Chula Vista police received reports of shots fired at Novo Brazil Brewing inside the Otay Ranch mall. Officers found three gunshot victims with non-life threatening wounds. Chula Vista police say the shooting does not appear to be an active shooter and it was "not random." Two groups of people were allegedly involved at the time of the shooting. The investigation is ongoing but the Otay Ranch Center is not on lockdown, Chula Vista police Sgt. Anthony Molina said. He also said it does "not appear to be evidence of a hate crime or a nexus to terrorism."
