Border Patrol has dropped off more than 18,500 migrants into San Diego over the past five weeks. More than 1,400 migrants have been dropped off in Oceanside and local nonprofits and city governments are stepping up to help. Last week, CBS 8 reported that Border Patrol had dropped 13,000 in one month's time, meaning there has been at least a 5,500 increase in just seven days.
