Description

The Cedar Fire ripped through San Diego County in 2003, destroying thousands of homes and taking 15 lives. It was an all-hands-on-deck situation and Heather Myers was just hired by CBS 8 and while it was the second day of the fire it was her very first day on the job. Heather also speaks to a San Diego firefighter who was brand new to the department back then and this was the first major fire he ever responded to.
