More than 300 adoptable dogs and cats, plus a handful of birds, will be available for adoption and meet-and-greet from 28 animal rescue agencies. It's IMPOSSIBLE not to find a great match when you are surrounded by so many wonderful pets!!! Bring the whole family, plus your friends and neighbors, and help us save lives! This event is a 20 year tradition!
Kathleen Orozco with Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue will be introducing Elsa, a 5-month-old Jack Russell Terrier Mix that is a little sweet heart with plenty of energy for a family. She was abandoned with all her siblings at the beach in La Paz, MX. She gets along with other dogs and people. Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue will be located right outside of Bath & Body Works, at the center of the mall on Saturday with loads of adorable pups.
Katherine Chilidonia with Furballs Furever Rescue will be introducing us to Mocha, a 5-month-old shepherd mix puppy. She's sweet and loves kids, cats, dogs. She loves car rides, music concerts, and snuggling on the couch. Potty, leash, and crate trained. And Pumpkin and Squash, two playful and adorable 2-month-old kittens for adoption! Come meet all three at their booth just outside of Walmart and World Market.
Terry Hogan with Friends of Cats Shelter will feature Mama Shiva, a 1.5 year old short-haired brown tabby who has raised a litter of kittens and is now ready for her turn to be adopted. She's sweet and loving and loves to play and relax in her cat tree. Friends of Cats will be located near the entrance to Reading Cinemas on Saturday, but they also have a shelter in El Cajon you can visit today!
Esther Lan with Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego County is bridging Tommy, an adorable 2 year old, male, Chihuahua Whippet mix, and Layla, an friendly 8-pound Yorkie-poo. Chihuahua Rescue will feature even more wonderful small breeds in their annual spot across from the Reading Cinemas entrance and Coldstone.
