The City of San Diego says it has now delivered 213,000 green waste binsto homes. The bins are meant to collect food scraps, paper, and yard waste and other organic material. But are you using yours? Residents told CBS 8 it’s gross. Kevin Gunning and his family have been recycling food scraps, paper, and yard waste for compost for years. We went to their home in Rancho Penasquitos and they showed us their smooth system.
