Thousands of law enforcement personnel from around the world are in San Diego for the International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference. It's the first time since 2016 San Diego has hosted the event. Organizers tell CBS 8 it’s the largest and most impactful law enforcement event of the year. It’s where they learn new techniques, as well as network with agencies from around the world. The convention started October 12th and runs through October 17th.
