August 17, 1991 All eyes were on the skies over Naval Air Station Miramar today as the 38th annual air show got underway. This year was special because it showed off the air power that won the war in the Persian Gulf. Margaret Radford was there. August 14, 1993 Nearly 200,000 people crowded onto the runways at Miramar to see the show. It wasn't a record crowd, but a very good one.
