The Miramar Air Show is held every year in San Diego and one of the most popular highlights are the Blue Angels. In 2022, CBS 8 anchor Marcella Lee had the privilege and honor of flying with the Blue Angels in an F/A-18 Super Hornet. In this video, we take you up with Marcella into the skies to share some of her experience and the incredible views. There is also some never-before-seen footage, including a moment of panic for Marcella when she says she couldn’t do the “one job” she had to clear them for takeoff.
